What we collect.
Why. And what we don't.

Plain-language disclosure of what happens when you use the FloorFlash website + submit a quote request. Last updated May 21, 2026.

What FloorFlash collects

Three things only:

  • Form submissions you send us. When you submit the estimator, price-match request, or "save your estimate" form, we receive the name, phone number, email, ZIP, and any project details you typed. Form processing is handled by Formspree, our form-delivery service. Their privacy policy is at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy/.
  • Anonymous site analytics. Google Analytics 4 records which pages you visit, how long you stay, whether you click certain buttons (phone call, text, build estimate, etc.). IP addresses are anonymized. We use this to know which pages are useful and which aren't. We don't see who you are personally.
  • A small A/B test cookie. A 1-byte cookie called ff_ab_v1 remembers which version of the homepage headline you saw, so you don't see a different version on every visit. It's deterministic, anonymous, and resets after 30 days. We use it to know which headline wording works better.

What we don't collect

For clarity, here's what FloorFlash explicitly does not do:

  • We don't sell your information. To anyone. Ever.
  • We don't share form submissions with third-party marketing lists.
  • We don't run cross-site retargeting pixels (no Facebook Pixel, no LinkedIn Insight Tag, no third-party ad networks tracking you across other sites after you visit floorflash.com).
  • We don't ask for or store credit card information on the website. Payment happens at signing, in person or through our financing partner (Acorn Finance).
  • We don't have a customer login or password system. There's nothing to hack because there's nothing to log into.

How long we keep it

Form submissions stay in our inbox indefinitely so we can find you again if you reach out months later asking about a quote we sent. If you ever want your information removed, email reserve@floorflash.com with "delete my info" in the subject line and we'll remove the records within 30 days.

Google Analytics retention is set to the standard 14-month window — after 14 months your visit history is deleted by Google automatically.

Cookies in plain English

This site sets three cookies:

  • _ga + _gid — Google Analytics. Anonymously identifies your browser so we can see returning vs new visitors. Expires after 2 years (_ga) or 24 hours (_gid).
  • ff_ab_v1 — Our A/B test cookie. Stores a randomly-assigned variant ID. Expires after 30 days. No personal information.

You can clear cookies anytime via your browser settings, or use a browser extension to block them. Blocking analytics cookies won't break the site — every feature works without them.

Texas residents (TDPSA)

The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) gives Texas residents the right to:

  • Confirm whether we process your personal data and access it
  • Correct inaccuracies in your data
  • Delete your data
  • Obtain a copy of your data in a portable format
  • Opt out of the sale of your data (we don't sell data, so this is automatic)

To exercise any of these rights, email reserve@floorflash.com with the request. We respond within 45 days.

Children

FloorFlash sells flooring installation. Nothing on this site is directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

When this policy changes

If we change how we collect or use information, we update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes get noted in a brief summary at the top of the policy for at least 30 days.
