What we collect.
Why. And what we don't.

Plain-language disclosure of what happens when you use the FloorFlash website + submit a quote request. Last updated October 19, 2026.

What FloorFlash collects

Two things only:

  • Form submissions you send us. When you send the project form on our homepage, we receive your name, mobile number, email, ZIP, and the project details you share (size, floor, service, removal, stairs, and any notes). The price-match request, the city-page quote form, and the price-match request send us the contact and project details you type into them. Form processing is handled by Formspree, our form-delivery service. Their privacy policy is at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy/.
  • Anonymous site analytics. Google Analytics 4 records which pages you visit, how long you stay, and whether you click certain buttons (call, text, get a quote, etc.). IP addresses are anonymized. We use this to know which pages are useful and which aren't. We don't see who you are personally.

Text messaging

Your mobile number and your texting consent are used only to send FloorFlash messages about your estimate and your project: the first reply to your form, scheduling the visit, your quote, and follow-ups about that quote. We do not share mobile opt-in data or texting consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. Our texting and scheduling tools send the messages on our behalf. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop, HELP for help.

What we don't collect

For clarity, here's what FloorFlash explicitly does not do:

  • Your information is never sold. To anyone. Ever.
  • Form submissions never go to third-party marketing lists.
  • No third-party ad networks track you across other sites. When we advertise on platforms like Meta or Google, that platform's standard conversion pixel may fire on this site so we know an ad led to a quote request; that is the full extent of it, and this page gets updated when it's active.
  • No credit card information is requested or stored on the website. Payments happen at signing and before install day, in person or through our financing partner (Acorn Finance).
  • There's no customer login or password system. Nothing to hack, because there's nothing to log into.

How long we keep it

Form submissions stay in our inbox indefinitely so we can find you again if you reach out months later asking about a quote we sent. If you ever want your information removed, email reserve@floorflash.com with "delete my info" in the subject line and we'll remove the records within 30 days.

Google Analytics retention is set to the standard 14-month window: after 14 months your visit history is deleted by Google automatically.

Cookies in plain English

This site sets these cookies:

  • _ga + _gid. Google Analytics. Anonymously identifies your browser so we can see returning vs new visitors. Expires after 2 years (_ga) or 24 hours (_gid).

You can clear cookies anytime via your browser settings, or use a browser extension to block them. Blocking analytics cookies won't break the site, every feature works without them.

Texas residents (TDPSA)

The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) gives Texas residents the right to:

  • Confirm whether we process your personal data and access it
  • Correct inaccuracies in your data
  • Delete your data
  • Obtain a copy of your data in a portable format
  • Opt out of the sale of your data (we don't sell data, so this is automatic)

To exercise any of these rights, email reserve@floorflash.com with the request. We respond within 45 days.

Children

FloorFlash sells flooring installation. Nothing on this site is directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

When this policy changes

If we change how we collect or use information, we update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes get noted in a brief summary at the top of the policy for at least 30 days.
